1999/2000 Tournament details. (20th May 00)
Two tournament wins this season. The Mixed A team entered the team tournament and were
successful with a six point winning margin in the final.
Also a hard fought win in the Mixed doubles tornament by "Me" and partner, 21-18.
I can't remember if there were any other tournament entries. If so I will enter them in due course.

Hawley go international - update. (1st June 99)
What a fantastic weekend!!! Two whole days of badminton playing each of the five other teams.
The result was a win for Hawley. Only one individual loss all weekend but no other team could beat us.
The whole team would like to thank the organizers of the event for such a wonderful time and for making us so welcome. See you next year. :o)

Hawley go international. (2nd May 99)
Hawley badminton club has been invited to enter a Tournament in Germany at the end of May.
The format will be mens and ladies doubles, mixed and singles.

Mixed doubles. (2nd Feb 99)
Once again Hawley enter a number of pairs for this tournament, four this time.
Of the pairs that entered one was in group two, the other's in group three.
The results are... Group 2 - winners. Group 3 - runner up, and two semi-finalists.

RBA Knockout Cup update. (15th Jan 99)
After a tough struggle against North Reading in the second round of the knockout tournament, Hawley end up as winners. (235-220)

Club Officers result. (30th Sept 98)
Of the eight players that entered from Hawley two reached the final.
After a titanic battle yours truly ended up as the winner. Final score, 21-15.

Club Officers tournament. (20th Sept 98)
The first tournament of the new season is to be held on the 27th September at Hermes Hall, Lightwater.
Hawley has eight players entering. Here's hoping for a good result.

RBA Knockout Cup winners. (25th May 98)
Hawley & Arborfield win the RBA Knockout cup for the second year running.
